From the day we first met, to our first date and so on, this is our love story.
While in Hawaii, I remember my cousin calling me up to chat about the new friends they met in CEBU restaurant. After minutes of "yada yada" he decided to three way with Berns. Not knowing that I was talking to my future wife, the conversation lasted shortly. When I decided to move back to WA, I was finally introduced to the so called CEBU friends. A couple of weeks went by and during those weeks we all hung out as a "new barkada". Developing feelings during that time period, I decided to ask her out while chatting online. With disbelief of my sincerity, she questioned me over and over again. Finally, I got her to go on a date with me...yey! We had our first date watching BRUCE ALMIGHTY at Yelm Cinema. I couldnt stop laughing...so she questioned my sexuality (meany). Anyhoo, it progressed afterwards into a mutual understanding and practically convinced her to be my girlfriend. After a couple of days, she finally said "yes". That was one of the happiest moments ever. We thought we would try it for a month and see if we would "click". A month became two, then three, and kept going and going. Berns and I kept our relationship a secret from everyone for 7 months, and finally came clean to the world! No more pretending and hiding. I look back now, after telling this story how much our relationship grew...and I can't ask for anything better!
We are the best of friends. We have a lot of things in common. We love eating out. We used to eat out two to three times a week. Some of our favorite restaurants are Main Chinese, Seasons Teriyaki, Souru Teriyaki, and more. We both love SUSHI. We both goof around when we're together. We like exchanging stories. We both like singing. And, one of the things that made our relationship stronger was when WINKY came into our lives. I got winky for Berns, since Berns wanted a chihuahua. I got him when he was 9 weeks old, and now he's turned into a matured little winks. He is the most fun- loving dog I've ever had. It's amazing how winky touched our lives. It trained me and Berns to become good parents.
Berns and I have been together for five years now, and still going strong and in love. We've had a lot of ups and downs, and they're all worth it. It made our relationship stronger and molded us into matured people. One day, when we become parents, our love story will be told and lived through them.
